Yarana Construction was founded in 2018 through a partnership between Kallie Engelbreg and Alan Olivier, bringing together complementary skill sets and a shared focus on disciplined, high-quality construction. With more than 30 years of combined industry experience, the partners established the company with the intention of building a reputation grounded in reliable workmanship, attention to detail, and consistent delivery.

The company’s early work centred on technically demanding groundwork, including French drain systems and septic installations, completing approximately 72 installations per year. This phase required precise planning, careful execution, and practical on-site problem-solving, which formed the basis for the company’s structured approach to construction. As project requirements expanded, this groundwork experience naturally progressed into renovation and tiling work.

Over time, the team broadened its expertise across key construction disciplines, including structural construction, high-quality finishing work, and the installation of aluminium doors and windows. Supported by hands-on site experience and an active project pipeline, this range of capabilities allowed the company to take on more complex and varied projects with confidence.

Yarana Construction has since grown into a builder serving hospitality developments and high-end residential homes. Each project reflects a considered approach to planning, craftsmanship, and tailored execution, shaped by the specific requirements of the client and site.
